Our newest baby is being introduced to foods & I wanted to share this easy- peasy recipe in hopes that more Mama's & Daddy's see how easy and cost efficient it is to feed your baby the very foods in your fridge right now!
Before I started making my guy's food I had no clue how to make baby food. It seemed like a scientific anomaly almost. A person can make their own baby food? Sure they can! We can do anything we want and it's usually quite simpler than we ever imagined. Baby food is no different. Pardon my picture and my extremely under-prepared photo shoot, but getting ready to feed my little man was all I had on my mind before I started snapping pic's ;) Here's my awesomely easy baby food recipe for apples. I will post them all as we go. Tomorrow we are going to try carrots! Step 1: Peel, dice, & boil your apple for 5-7 minutes. This should soften your apple. Step 2: Choose your puree machine of choice (I love my Ninja). You DO NOT need anything fancy! A blender will work just as well. You may even use a potato masher! Make sure to keep a tad bit of water in when pureeing. Step 3: Stir it up. Check for chunks & dump them or mash them up more especially if you are just introducing this to your baby & he or she does not have teeth. Voila! In less than 10 minute's baby's lunch or dinner is all done! Do you make homemade baby food? Share some of your recipes with us in the comments below!

anks for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience of mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreciate you reading and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to
